The quiet elegance of Lee Da-hae in a traditional hanbok kept the eyes of the nation focused on living room television sets last night. This was to be expected as KBS and its filming partner, Olive 9, have been promoting Lee’s appearance in the new KBS drama “Hello, Miss” very seriously. It is Lee’s first television appearance since 2005.
A press conference welcoming Lee’s return was held at the lavish Imperial Palace Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong last week. Lee’s previous work has been with SBS in 2005 and MBC in 2004. Both dramas scored quite a coup, and it was KBS’s turn to test its luck. Despite all the buildup, the 23-year-old actress was calm and modest, at least in front of the press.
“I think a person can get only greedy if she or he keeps on winning,” Lee said as she leaned forward to talk into the microphone. “I can’t always expect my TV work to succeed, but I admit I have been very lucky so far.”
“I am not going to attempt too much this time, but only do my best,” she said. In contrast to Lee, the producers had good reason to be nervous.
On the same night “Hello, Miss” is airing, rival MBC is ready with a new detective drama, “Hit,” starring Ko Hyeon-jung, and SBS has hired star scriptwriter Kim Su-hyeon and cast one of Korea’s best actresses, Kim Hui-ae, to appear in “My Man’s Woman.”
“I would be lying if I said I am completely okay [with competing against older actors whom I respect],” Lee said. “But our viewer targets are different. Ko is working on a detective piece and Kim’s drama is targeting an audience that would be older than mine.”
Based on a teen novel, “Five Kimchi Dumplings,” the drama “Hello, Miss” features Lee as the last living daughter of a once-respected clan in the countryside. She comes out wearing a beautiful hanbok, showing off her traditional feminine virtues. Her peaceful life is interrupted when the son of a rich investor, Hwang Dong-gyu, (played by singer and actor Lee Ji-hoon) demands she sell her ancestral house, which has 99 pillars, to him. (Under rules dating from the Joseon Dynasty, no one but a king could have a house with more than 99 pillars.) But she scoffs at his offer and tries to save her home by holding traditional home-stay programs for urban residents. She also finds that Hwang descended from a servant family that worked for her clan during the days of the monarchy.
“As you can tell, the drama’s genre is quite similar to what I have been working on before,” Lee said, carefully explaining that she was a producer’s favorite for romantic comedies. “I guess it’s up to me to make it different for the viewers and make it fun.”
Lee Min-hong, the director of the drama, was very proud of his actress. “She would call me at night saying that she wants to talk about the next scene we will be filming,” Mr. Lee said. “She says she can’t fall asleep because she is so worried about it. She is a very responsible girl.”
Lee debuted on Korean television after graduating from Burwood Girls High school in Sydney. She won SBS Performance Awards’ Top 10 Popularity Award in 2006, SBS Performance Awards’: Performance Award ― Drama Special and the 41st Baeksang Arts Awards’: Best New Actress in 2005.

TOMORROW Avril Lavigne
She dedicated this song to her Grandfather who had passed away. She's crying while singing the song. It's very sad! :(
And I wanna believe you, When you tell me that it'll be ok, Ya I try to believe you, But I don't
When you say that it's gonna be, It always turns out to be a different way, I try to believe you, Not today, today, today, today, today...
[Chorus:] I don't know how I feel, tomorrow, tomorrow, I don't know what to say, tomorrow, tomorrow Is a different day
It's always been up to you, It's turning around, It's up to me, I'm gonna do what I have to do, just don't Give me a little time, Leave me alone a little while, Maybe it's not too late, not today, today, today, today, today...
[Chorus:]
I don't know how I feel, tomorrow, tomorrow, I don't know what to say, tomorrow, tomorrow Is a different day
Hey yeah yeah Hey yeah yeah And I know I'm not ready, Hey yeah yeah Hey yeah yeah Maybe tomorrow
And I wanna believe you, When you tell me that it'll be ok, Ya I try to believe you, Not today, today, today, today, today...
Tomorrow it may change [4x]

Mindy Smith - One Moment More Mindy Smith singing a great song written for her mother.
Hold me Even though I know you're leaving And show me All the reasons you would stay It's just enough to feel your breath on mine To cool my soul and ease my mind You've go to hold me and show me love
Give me Just one part of you to cling to And keep me Everywhere you are It's just enough to steal a heart and run And fade out with the fooling sun
Oh, please don't go Let me have you just one moment more Oh, all I need All I want is just one moment more You've got to hold me and keep me
Tell me that someday you'll be returning And maybe Maybe I'll be here It's just enough to see a shooting star To know you're never really far It's just enough to see a shooting star To know you're never really gone
Oh, please don't go Let me have you just one moment more Oh, all I need All I want is just one moment more
Oh, please don't go Let me have you just one moment more Oh, all I need All I want is just one moment more You've got to hold me and maybe I'll believe
So hold me Even though I know you're leaving

Finally the day has come!! Smallville Ep 16: Promise
I finally get to watch the episode! Not the entire episode though but only the parts with Clana in it. First of all, i have to say that i'm damn happy that Lana finally knows about Clark's secret. Her way of finding the truth about Clark is really brilliant. She told Chloe that she left a present for Lex at the wine cellar and asked her to go and get it. As soon as Chloe enters the wine cellar, Lana locked her in and hide. Because Chloe couldn't get through to Lana, she called Clark for help instead and Clark super speed to the wine cellar, broke and carry the metal door with his bare hands and after Chloe came out of there, he uses his heat vision to seal the door back. The exciting part is, LANA SAW EVERYTHING!! On top of that, she also overheard Chloe and Clark's conversation about the reason he didn't tell Lana his secret is to protect her, giving up Lana is the hardest thing he had to do... After witnessing that, Lana decided to call off the wedding. While writing a letter to Lex, apologising that she can't go through with the wedding, enters Clark saying, "Sorry Lana, but i couldn't let you through with this." He was about to tell her his secret but Lana told him that he don't need to because she won't be marrying Lex and will meet him at the barn at 5 o'clock. I just love that scene. But it ended too soon because Lionel walks in and saw the letter that Lana wrote to Lex. He knew that Lana discovered Clark's secret and threatens to kill Clark if Lana doesn't marry Lex. Next come the most heartbreaking scene. Lana, already in a her wedding gown, crying in her room. Enters Clark, saying,"I've waited for you. What happened?" Lana sobbed and told him that she have a changed of heart. She love Lex and wants to marry him. I cried watching this scene because she have to say that to protect him. Finally she got married to Lex while Clark watches her leave after the wedding.

Little tidbit for Upcoming Ep Smallville, Promise
"Lex & Lana's Wedding Day is Here" But before Clark can raise his hand in Protest,it looks like Lana beats him to it"
- "Lana will always love Clark, but Clark is a difficult boyfriend due to his lack of honesty" states Gough."She turned to Lex,but now she's having second thoughts. Her decision to walk down the aisle is motivated by love, but not for the person you think it should be for".
- "It's a real wedding, they will be married by the end of the episode. This isn't a tease. The forces conspire in Lex's favor, and he gets Lana".
-They then mention Clark being tempted to tell Lana his secret,Al says the following" There will be a big twist there, too,"Gough winks. "There's a finality to the wedding and the relationships between Clark and Lana,as well as Lana and Lex. We didn't want to do it as a season finale because we still have a really good run of episodes that turns everything you see in the wedding episode on its ear".

Following Rain’s announcement that he will have a concert in Taiwan on the 31st of March, the Taiwan music scene has been buzzing with activity. His concert will clash with Angela Zhang’s concert since both are held on the same day. Angela’s record company has sent her stylist to buy a copious amount of clothing, planning to use a myriad of styles to compete the Korean pop king. Ayumi Hamasaki’s concert will be held one week earlier on the 24th, and tickets were sold out within 2 hours. The organizers are now trying to add another show on the 25th.
When Angela Zhang heard that her idol Rain will be having a concert in Taiwan on the same day, she helplessly said, “Then I will have no chance to see his performance, what a pity.” However she thought that they had fate and chemistry, choosing the same day to have their concerts. Her record company is treating this situation gravely. They recently sent the stylist to Japan to source for costumes, and even stipulated that there was no limit to the price, expending all effort to build a myriad of styles for Angela Zhang.

Can't wait for next week's episode of Smallville.
Ep 16: Promise
LEX AND LANA'S WEDDING DAY - On the day of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lana's (Kristin Kreuk) wedding, Lex receives a call from Dr. Langston (guest star Fred Henderson) who threatens to tell Lana the truth about her baby. Lana begins to have second thoughts about marrying Lex and Clark comes to his own realization that he can't let Lana marry Lex and decides to tell her about his secret. However, no one is prepared for what happens when Lionel Luthor (John Glover) steps in. The CW Press site just releaved a new spoiler from Promise when they released new images regarding the wedding, Lionel (John Glover) reveals that he knows Clark's secret and will kill Clark if Lana does not marry Lex.
I don't expect anything much from this episode because i know Lana will eventually get married to Lex, to avoid Lionel from exposing Clark's secret. But whatever it is, that will be the episode where Clark's gonna finally tells Lana about his secret and i'm really looking forward to that.
Here's the trailer for Promise.
