LIZARDS!! My mom caught 2 lizards behind a frame in our living room. The frame has always been lizards' hideout and that prompted me to search the internet on how to get rid of lizards. I managed to find a very interesting forum on how to get rid of lizards and when i started reading the entries, i couldn't stop laughing. The stories in there are hilarious. I quoted a few entries from the forum: "I thought my family is the only one wih lizzy problems! My mum and (elder) bro freak when they see one and Dad is the 'official lizard killer'. My mum even dos the special 'lizzy dance' when she sees one! She won't rest until it's killed. They're disgustin creatures. We moved a few months ago to what I call -"lizard country" - Seychelles. In just these four months, in 1 room we've killed (by spraying 1/4 can insect repellent) over 40 lizards. Its crazy they're everywhere. Brown, Green, white and black. In he nights you hear them mating. People wear pictures of hm on their shirts and on jewellry. We've tried repeated pest control, insect sprays, and taping ALL the windows - tho it made the landlady angry coz she said we 'needed fresh air'!. As if! We even put tape under the doors -- and he main door has a mat to prevent them entering. To all you lizard-phobics, my mum n bro have done extensive research on them, considering the paranoia, but NOTHING so far can keep them out. They stil keep coming. Its an ongoing fight.... Now, if we see them, 1 person (mum or bro) will spray it till it lies still, then I smash it with a stick. The others cant bear the 'squish' it makes. And we leave it there till the maid can take out the body. If you know anything that works, LET ME KNOW!!!!!! Join the anti-lizard campaign NOW!!" "Moth balls in your house. The smell is suppose to drive them away. Also spray your house real good with bug spray once a week for a while and put down the sticky things to catch them. I've got my house stinking like moth balls but will live with it until they're gone. I HATE them" "To all you lizard lovers, I agree with you that they have the right to live. But I just don't want to sleep with them. I "woke" up and found one "on my pillow" recently. That's way too close for comfort." "That lizard that was so close to you on your pillow probably just got done eating a spider that was ready to go up your nose while you were sleeping. You should thank him & invite some of his friends in for a sleep over." "When I came in the house I saw a lizard up on the couch. They might be good for some things, but how do I get rid of them in the house. Will appreciate hearing from someone with this same problem. They are all over the place outside." "I have them come in the house and I have such a phobia to them that it's unreal. I will almost break my neck to get away from one. I know they won't hurt me but they scare me to death! I've tried everything and have one room I won't even go into anymore because I've seen two in there."
